I saw a lot of cats while traveling through Israel . I thought this week I’d share a few of the pictures I took. (There were very few dogs I met or could take pictures of. Sorry dog lovers.)
Photo 1: Cat at the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter, near the Sea of Galilee.
Photo 2: Cat in the Golan Heights.
Photo 3: Kitten in the courtyard outside the Church of St. Anne, Jerusalem.
Photo 4 (my favorite): Cat hanging out in the plaza next to the Western Wall in Jerusalem. As far as this cat is concerned, the Western Wall belongs to cats.
Photo 5: Cat walking along the paths on top of the Damascus Gate, Jerusalem. From the ramparts of this gate the Old City looked so peaceful … but on the ground there was so much heartbreak for everyone who lives there. (Heard earlier today about the deaths at this gate :() … It’s tricky to see the cat in this photo due to its fur blending in with the stones so well.

Happy Halloween to all of you!
Here’s a quick photo of some of the pumpkins dressed up for the holiday. These are all from the rogue pumpkin plants that grew in the back yard grass this year. We pasted googly eyes on them.
I have, unfortunately, been quite sick this year, but the garden has been a cheering influence.
Also, here’s a picture of our dog, KC. The vet technicians dressed up the bandaging on her right paw to look like a Jack ‘O Lantern so that she’s ready to greet trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.
I wish you all a wonderful October.

Our cat Rajah loves to show off his food bowl to anyone who visits us. Today he made it clear that he wanted me to take a picture of it so that he could show it off to the internet as well.
This is a cat who hates to dine alone. Hates it. He will beg anyone in the house who will listen to him to come with him to his food bowl to watch him eat.
He will look over his shoulder to make sure his guest is still there, and if you are rude enough to wander off before he is done eating, he will chase you down and insist with loud meows that you go back.
After today, my posts with pictures will become much more infrequent. The changes to Lynn Kilmore as my pen name were crashed through for the 2nd edition ebooks during the last two weeks (instead of taking 3 months as originally scheduled), and it’s now been pointed out to me that my blogging is taking time and energy away from finishing the edit to the sequel for Cubicles, Blood, and Magic. I need to get cracking on finishing the latest round of editing on that manuscript and turn it in.
So there will be pictures … just less frequently.

KC developed a hot spot on her ankle that she proceeded to lick too much, and so the vet had to bandage the spot to keep her off it.
This week’s bandage wrapper color is pink.
Today KC also decided to liven the household up by jumping on the bed that Rajah (our cat) was dozing on. Rajah proceeded to roll over to get farther away from her … and rolled right off the bed onto the carpet.
Rajah is fine. Only his dignity was injured.
The desert heat is getting intense during the middle of the day, but KC still has a good time outside in the early mornings and evenings. She loves to roll in the dead grass spots to get a good dirt bath.
It’s good to be reminded that the simple things in life can be the most fun.
Until next week… Cheers, Lynn

Well, Murphy’s Law is in full effect here right now. The Goodreads Giveaway ends tomorrow, and we’ve been frantically trying to get the hiccups in the transition from lmmay.com to lynnkilmore.com sorted out before then, but this latest bug just hit thirty minutes ago
Most of the links to pictures on this website are now currently broken. Sorry about that.
I uploaded the pictures of the Bing cherries to get ready to post about them to the blog tonight … and accidentally triggered a bug that broke the links to almost every other picture on this website. We think we know what happened–and it’s something that would’ve broken as soon as I uploaded any sort of media after the transition. It may take a bit to fix, but we’ll get there. In the meantime, please pardon the blank spots where the covers and photos should be.
Sooner or later the pictures and the book covers on this website will work again … and in the meantime I can look at the website and see what it would look as mostly text (and laugh).
Click here for the Goodreads Giveaway link if you want to enter to win a signed copy of Soul Cages.
I’ve got my fingers crossed that the bugs are shaken out of this website by next week. I’ll do a blog post with pictures once they’ve got things fixed.
