The weather service has issued a freeze warning for this week, so I’ve gone out to the garden to take pictures of the last blooms in the garden before it’s too late.
There’s something bittersweet about roses in November in New Mexico, since we know it can end at any time due to the coming of winter. The days are still warm enough for plants to grow … it’s the 30-40 degree F drop during the nights that kills the plants off.
We are currently on round 3 of the rose bushes blooming this year. This third blooming just started about a week-and-a-half ago.
The rosemary bushes are also in bloom right now. The blossoms look very delicate.
I hope you all enjoy the turning of the seasons this month. Cheers, Lynn
